SHPOCK - APP REVIEW - IS IT WORTH SELLING THERE?

I was very excited about the Shpock app as it allows to sell your old clothes , accessories and anything else like furniture or perfumes. The app has a very secure way of selling the items, you can either selling it directly via the app and post it or you can sell it locally and meet for the sale in person. Both ways have the advantages. The system in the app protects both the seller and the buyer so it is great to sell small clothing items that you can easily post. So far I have sold items like a sofa, shoes, a watch, dresses, clothes, a decorative ornament, handbags etc. The only thing you should be aware is that the important thing is to price your items correctly, you can't expect to retrieve the same amount that you paid for a used item. I think this is where many people have a rude awakening as used items , especially fashion loose a lot of value, even designer items. Otherwise the buyer can just buy a full price item brand new from the store so it has to be a significant d

Studio Frantzen restaurant review

Studio Frantzen is an amazing restaurant located in Harrods departament store in the top floor. It is quite new and I was very excited to visit it and I was not disappointed. I went there for dinner and the ambiance and decor is very minimal and chic.Lots of wood, dimmed lights, booths. Very modern. As you walk in , it is open plan and you can also see the kitchen which is also nice and interesting to see what is happening there. The menu is great and there is something delicious for everyone. I started off with a yummy cocktail, pink of course, then I had a sashimi selection starter and then baby monkfish main course, all of which was absolutely divine. I can't wait to visit again and sample other things from the menu. I also had a dessert which as delicious, foie gras ice cream. The service is fantastic and the staff is very helpful in choosing the right thing on the menu for your taste, they give great recommendations. I am looking forward to visiting again and maybe this

SOHO HOUSE MEMBERS CLUB REVIEW

London Soho House is a members club that has many varied venues across London , here are some that I have been to and what I think about them, are they worth it? Soho House is meant to be a place for people who work in media and other creative professions. White City House - a massive venue in White City with restaurants and bars and a swimming pool on the rooftop. There is all you need to be entertained, concerts, shows, cabaret, restaurants ( I lived the Japanese restaurant there) and of course the famous swimming pool. Whereas the venues itself is luges , the pool area gets very crowded even on a Monday so it is a bit tricky to really enjoy it. I wish the pool was bigger. Otherwise I love the venue and the service is always super nice and helpful. Little House in Mayfair. As the name suggests it is very small and suitable for drinks after work if you happened to be in Mayfair area. They also serve food and have live piano on occasions. A small bar and restaurant area. HOW TO START YOUR LUXURY BAG COLLECTION

If I had to start my luxury bags collection again and avoid any potential expensive mistakes, this is the guidelines I would follow. 1. Start with one classic bag that will match everything or at least most things in a neutral colour. I would recommend to start with two bags - one in black and one in nude/ beige colour. Or if just one, start with a black one. You might be tempted with all the trendy pieces in all seasonal colours but it would be a bit tricky when the trends pass and the colour becomes less fashionable or , even worse, you will discover that the colour you chose is very difficult to style with anything else you have in your wardrobe. NEW LUXURY RESTAURANTS TO TRY IN LONDON- my wish list

There are amazing restaurants opening in London every day but those two are really exceptional and found a place on my wish list immediately. Studio Frantzen in Harrods. Click here to book It is on the top floor of Harrods and it's a new exciting Nordic restaurant. with Asian influence. I am beyond excited to try it out! Another one was a love at first sight as well and it's Bacchanalia Click here to book Out of this world decor and menu, probably the most flamboyant restaurant right now in London. Pure luxury, booking well in advance is advised.

Wild Tavern - honest restaurant review

Wild Tavern in Chelsea is located near Chelsea Green at Elystan Street. It serves Italian food and is truly exceptional ! It is very casual and cosy with a fireplace being in the centre point of the restaurant. It feels very rustic and has excellent service. The menu involves lots of amazing dishes making it difficult to choose and also they have daily specials. I've gone for sea-bass carpaccio which was absolutely amazing , followed by ravioli which was delicious. I am definitely coming back to try more things from the menu as I have observed them enviously on surrounding tables. For dessert - cannoli , an absolute dream ! I ca't wait to get back there for dinner as this was only lunch. Highly recommend !! Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in Chelsea!

THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW WERE RUDE TO ASK - ETIQUETTE

Have you ever been made uncomfortable during a conversation by someone who was asking too many intrusive questions? Or have you made someone uncomfortable? What are the questions that you didn't know were rude to ask... There are so many questions that are too intrusive and a covert way of asking something else indirectly. 1. What do you do? This question seems innocent but asking it directly comes across intrusive and putting someone on a spot. It comes across you are asking how wealthy are you, how much money do you have? Some people are just wealthy and don't do anything and others just lost their job. It is not something they would want to discuss unless you are a close friend already, definitely not with a stranger. It is better never to ask and wait for the person to mention it themselves. 2. Do you live alone? Another question that is a bit uncomfortable , are you trying to invite yourself? Or asking if someone can afford to live by themselves. Another variation of

Art'otel Joia rooftop bar review Battersea Power Station

There is a new rooftop in town, Battersea Power station Art Hotel. It is places on 16th floor of the building and has amazing views over the Power Station and London. A perfect place to enjoy a drink on a sunny day. The bar is serving drinks and has an ope bar, tables and a swimming pool for the residents of the hotel. The water is warm, I checked it personally, it absolutely lovely. The staff is super nice and helpful and there is a DJ playing as well which creates a fantastic atmosphere, really great summer vibes. Overall a great experience if you love rooftop bars and breathtaking views. Perfect for catching up with friends or a date. Next stop on the itinerary is 15th floor with another bar belonging to Joia restaurant and amazing views over London, also a very nice arty and modern decor.
