Ivy Cafe Marylebone - restaurant review

The great thing about the Ivy restaurants is that you know what to expect more or less in every one. The Ivy Cafe in Marylebone is a great little mini version of the regular Ivys but a little bit more intimate. A smaller space which conveys more of a subdued ambiance rather than the Ivy Chelsea or High Street Kensington.

It is located a short walk from Bond Street tube station, so just in the heart of central London which is very convenient if you want to eat something before or after theatre or a concert.

The menu is also great, I think all Ivys share the same menus so you know what you are getting, which is really great as this one doesn't disappoint either. We had scallops as a starter , fried calamari, followed by grilled haloumi and pasta. Then some desserts, everything was delicious including my Bellini and Chablis wine. Super nice and helpful service was very attentive but not intrusive, all in all a great experience if you are looking for a relaxed casual dining in Central London with reasonable prices. I will definitely be back if I am in the area. Great place for dates, catching up with friends, pre or apres theatre dining.
