Ave Mario is a sister restaurant to Circolo Poplare and is a fantastic Italian restaurant based in Covent Garden, Henrietta Street. If you are thinking of experiencing an Italian restaurant in a fun way , even a clubby kind of way, this is the place.
It is a multi level restaurant with outside space and a few very nicely decorated dining rooms, some look like a club or a bar which makes the place fun and diverse.Slightly kitsch decor and tableware make it even more fun if you are into this sort of things. The atmosphere is very buzzy and fun with lots of music and noise. The only thing is that it might be a bit too noisy sometimes to hear each other but it is a small price to pay for the experience.
The food is absolutely amazing, the choices or amazing pasta ( truffle one was my favourite) , the burrata, the pizzas , desserts and the ice cream block, yes you read it correctly, it arrives , makes an entrance and it is being carved out onto your plate. Need I say more?
The service is super friendly and helpful and they have a lot of staff which is great as there is always someone available to help.
Overall Ave Mario is a great restaurant for a fun night out in London with your friends and even a fun date. I highly recommend it and will be back very soon!
