Is London still worth visiting in 2025?

London has changed a lot in the last few years , first changes started after Brexit and then accelerated after the pandemic. Is it still worth visiting? London is beautiful especially for Christmas and this year has been outdone itself with Christmas lights and decorations but there are a few things that have changed. 1.Safety There are so many instances where London has been reported as not as safe anymore. Crowned by the Mayor knighthood that has been a laughing stock recently, we are laughing through tears, London has never had so much crime as recently. To remain safe there are a few things you have to consider - are you wearing any flashy items that can attract unwanted attention? If yes consider hiding them or swapping for something less obvious. Are you a man or a woman, as a man you probably don't understand what women have to go though when it comes to safety, try putting yourself in their shoes, it is more dangerous for a woman to go back home late at night than it...

Zuma - restaurant review

Is it true what they say about Zuma? Zuma has been a London top Japanese restaurant for decades now but it is true what they say? Zuma has been famous for many things in London, one is obviously amazing food and atmosphere, that still carries on to 2025 as I have personally checked several times recently. They occasionally change the menu but there are some classics you could request that are still available if you are in the know. If you are a long term Zuma customer you will have had your favourites. Same goes for drinks and cocktails at the bar. The service is always impeccable and waiters are very knowledgable about the dishes and drinks. The ambiance is very fun and the music gets a bit clubby sometimes which is a good thing. TOP CLUBBY LONDON RESTAURANTS FOR A NIGHT OUT

Do you sometimes want to go to a club without going to a club? You want a fun night out but without the clubbing bit. Those restaurants fill this need and here are my top favourite London restaurants that have that clubbing feeling. Tis would be handy if you are just travelling to London and need a night out as London club scene can be tricky, it is easier to get a reservation in a restaurant than getting into best clubs as you have to be a member. First of all we have to mention Novikov, the OG of London Asian fusion restaurants. On Saturdays it turns into a club and has a DJ and of course let's not forget the famous late night bar with DJ. The food is amazing and it is a fun night out if you are looking for that clubby feeling. Another restaurant with similar atmosphere is Bocconcino just across the road, unfortunately the food is not the best there so it is mainly the atmosphere that is fun and they have live music and dj as well. AMANO HOTEL ROOFTOP REVIEW- LONDON ROOFTOP REVIEWS

Amano Hotel rooftop honest review. Amano hotel is located in London Covent Garden and is a new addition to the London rooftop scene. The hotel bar is on top floor and has amazing views of London skyline. It is very stylishly decorated and has great ambiance and music. Also a great selection of cocktails and drinks and of course rose wine, perfect for the summer. Amano rooftop is perfect for a super hot day as it it slightly sheltered from direct sun and it has a wonderful cooling breeze being so high up. There is nothing more you can ask from a London rooftop bar! It is very central and easy to find and is a perfect place for a romantic date in the evening or catching up with friends in the late afternoon for drinks. I will definitely be coming back again. NEW LUXURY RESTAURANTS TO TRY IN LONDON- my wish list

There are amazing restaurants opening in London every day but those two are really exceptional and found a place on my wish list immediately. Studio Frantzen in Harrods. Click here to book It is on the top floor of Harrods and it's a new exciting Nordic restaurant. with Asian influence. I am beyond excited to try it out! Another one was a love at first sight as well and it's Bacchanalia Click here to book Out of this world decor and menu, probably the most flamboyant restaurant right now in London. Pure luxury, booking well in advance is advised.

My experience with Bumble BFF in London

Living in London has its ups and downs and pitfalls. Finding new friends as an adult is another challenge in itself which should be quite easy to solve in a huge city as London, one thinks. Unfortunately this is not the case. London is very transitional and people are always coming and going so you always need to meet new people should your existing network begin to thin out. The same recurring story on many Bumble BFF profiles - my friends have moved away, all friends just had babies, all my friends moved out because of Brexit... That might make you think there are plenty of 'available potential friends' around. Yes... in theory, the practice is a bit different... The experiences you can expect at Bumble BFF are as follows: 1. Fake profiles ... it has to be said, someone had to get this app going and that were the Bumble employees chatting to you while you find the real matches... 2. IVY ASIA MAYFAIR RESTAURANT REVIEW

Ivy Asia Mayfair was opened quite recently and it is a fantastic addition to London restaurants in Mayfair. It is located just across the road from Roka so in very good company. It is quite a large venue , compared to Ivy Asia Chelsea but the decor is the same , glamorous and that famous green floor is so mesmerising! Lots of pink cherry blossoms to take amazing photos with... I have had a lunch there but I am looking forward to a dinner one day. As always the food selection did not disappoint. An amazing sushi and sashimi platter to share and lots of others small side dished were an absolute delight , the highlight of the lunch was a dessert platter, absolutely stunning and great to share with friends. I will definitely be back very soon, highly recommended! Ivy Asia Mayfair is a versatile restaurant, I think it is perfect for dinners but also for lunch and larger groups and parties , it would be absolutely perfect for a birthday as well.
