There are so many Japanese restaurants in London but there are a few best ones that will always be popular and will new be overshadowed by others.
Zuma - Knightsbridge hands down top Japanese restaurant of all time. No competition. Best food, best atmosphere, great time every time I visited. And that famous bar...
Roka Charlotte Street and Roka Mayfair- another classic for Japanese food in Central London, always fantastic food.
Novikov- classic choice when it comes to Japanese restaurants , you can't go wrong. The food is outstanding, fun atmosphere, it turns into a nightclub on the weekend. A place to see and be seen. And again , the famous bar downstairs ...
Nobu Mayfair - best Nobu in London, closely followed by Nobu Portman Square. London classic for Japanese food that never disappoints.
Kyubi in Arts Club - amazing food but slightly lacking in the atmosphere , which is strange bearing in mind it is in Art Club which has a great atmosphere. Counter style sitting which is not ideal but if you don't mind , the food is excellent, and of course you can enjoy Arts Club later.
Dinings SW3- amazing food , Dinings Marylebone - food is amazing but unfortunately the venue itself is not that great... not glamours at all...this is a bit of a disappointment for me.
Sumosan- amazing Japanese dishes in Mayfair, great for business dinners , not so much for a date as it is lacking a bit of an ambiance.
Sumosan Twiga - younger sister of Sumosan, great for a party. Located in Sloane Street.
Ivy Asia Chelsea and Ivy Asia Mayfair- Amazing food and beautiful decorations, super glamorous. This restaurant will definitely impress. Fantastic service as well, every time.
Koji - based on New King's Road. Fantastic food and atmosphere , also a fun bar with unforgettable feather lamp shades.
