Where to have lunch or brunch in Chelsea? Granger & Co. is a great place, located on Pavilion Road -it is a perfect place for apres shopping!
Granger has a great menu which is very vegetarian friendly , lots of healthy options, perfect for a girls' catch up, casual date or having lunch with mum. I had green pea falafel with Haloumi and a salad, a very generous portion fit for the most hungry King's Road shoppers.
The service is very nice and helpful and it is quite easy to get a table during off peak hours however it is a very popular place so be ready to wait in the famous Granger queue.
The only thing I would be picky about is the fact that inside the restaurant the ambiance is a bit like a school eatery, it doesn't have any 'je ne sais quoi' , it is very noisy and the tables are too close together if you want to discuss your new boyfriend discreetly without the entire Chelsea knowing your story, don't do it! There are a few tables outside and in the garden which I will be aiming for next time. Hiding behind giant palm trees would definitely elevate the experience.
Conclusion : I will definitely come back with better weather and better seating options. The food is lovely and it is a perfect location.
