It Ends With Us- Film review

It Ends With Us - new film with Blake Lively. I wasn't expecting much from this film but I was surprised that I actually liked it. It starts with a 'romantic comedy' vibe that brings to mind some of those classic romantic comedies that we all loved in 90s or early 2000s. For some reason those type of moves are not being made anymore so it was giving me a cosy feeling of familiarity. After a while the film develops into more drama but it has been subsided by the way it was filmed which was an interesting take to convey the message but without unnecessary violence and grafic scenes, it was a nice change after so many movies that have too much violence just for the sake of it. Blake Lively was great for the role however I am not sure why they have made her wear so many dungarees, it was a bizarre choice of outfits especially that the other actress who played the sister was wearing the most amazing flamboyant outfits that could have easily been worn by Carrie in Sex and th...

TOP CLUBBY LONDON RESTAURANTS FOR A NIGHT OUT

Do you sometimes want to go to a club without going to a club? You want a fun night out but without the clubbing bit. Those restaurants fill this need and here are my top favourite London restaurants that have that clubbing feeling. Tis would be handy if you are just travelling to London and need a night out as London club scene can be tricky, it is easier to get a reservation in a restaurant than getting into best clubs as you have to be a member. First of all we have to mention Novikov, the OG of London Asian fusion restaurants. On Saturdays it turns into a club and has a DJ and of course let's not forget the famous late night bar with DJ. The food is amazing and it is a fun night out if you are looking for that clubby feeling. Another restaurant with similar atmosphere is Bocconcino just across the road, unfortunately the food is not the best there so it is mainly the atmosphere that is fun and they have live music and dj as well. Everyman in Chelsea - luxury London cinema

Does anyone go to the cinema anymore in London? Yes, definitely, especially my favourite London cinema at the moment, while mourning the loss of Curzon Victoria, a loss we can never recover from as Londoners. The cinema that comes to the rescue in those times of culture depravation is Everyman cinema in Chelsea. It is located on King's Rd, of course and it probably the cutest cinema in town, with lovely decor and plush seating areas, bar with drinks and snacks and of course your own waitress serving directly to your seat. Perfect for a date or even solo cinema outing. The best part about this cinema is the it also has screenings of other cultural delights such as opera or theatre and as a matter of fact it can be even better than attending theatre itself as the seating is more comfortable and you can pretty much sit anywhere and feel like you are right up there in the beast seats in the opera ot theatre itself. Without being significantly impoverished by the premium tickets....

Skylight - theatre play review

Skylight has been on London theatre scene for a while now. I was looking forward to seeing it as it has one of my favourite actresses in it, Carey Mulligan and of course Bill Nighy. As the story of the two lovers unfold , we get to know the characters , it is an interesting study of the personalities and quite stereotypical class backgrounds. Contrasting the "rich" and the "poor" being involved in a love triangle. Predictably , there was a strong hint of feminism and Bill Nighy character has brought up strong memories of the character he played in "Love actually" film , which was a bit disappointing to be honest, I think he can do better than that. These are my two and only criticisms of the play which I have enjoyed otherwise and recommend. It is funny and has a lot of emotions that I have enjoyed. Trinity restaurant review - Clapham best restaurant

I have visited Trinity several times before the pandemic and I was wondering if it is still good and worth visiting. I am so glad I did! Trinity is located in Clapham Old Town and it is quite an usual location for a Michelin star restaurant but it is worth a trip and it does not disappoint. The service is amazing and very helpful , I really think this is one of the most important things that makes the restaurant a great experience. Starting off with a Bellini or a glass of champagne is always a good idea. And of course the food was fantastic as well, we have tried the set menu where you can choose different dishes and a dessert. Every dish was amazing and I am excited to come back again to try more and have a fabulous time. Trinity is great to celebrate a special occasion, dinner with in laws, date, romantic occasions as well. It has a quiet and sophisticated atmosphere but not overly so, it is just right. London has an amazing choices when it comes to entertaining and impressing your date. Here are some luxury and decadent date ideas you can indulge in whether you are a Londoner or just visiting.
