Do you sometimes want to go to a club without going to a club? You want a fun night out but without the clubbing bit. Those restaurants fill this need and here are my top favourite London restaurants that have that clubbing feeling. Tis would be handy if you are just travelling to London and need a night out as London club scene can be tricky, it is easier to get a reservation in a restaurant than getting into best clubs as you have to be a member.
First of all we have to mention Novikov, the OG of London Asian fusion restaurants. On Saturdays it turns into a club and has a DJ and of course let's not forget the famous late night bar with DJ. The food is amazing and it is a fun night out if you are looking for that clubby feeling.
Another restaurant with similar atmosphere is Bocconcino just across the road, unfortunately the food is not the best there so it is mainly the atmosphere that is fun and they have live music and dj as well.
Amazonico is next on the list, also Asian food, great decoration, super fun atmosphere and DJ. Asian fusion food here is great, nice cocktails, it is designed to have fun.
Similar vibe is Sexy Fish, the clue is in the name, dress up and go out to eat some sexy fish, great bar and live performances.
Moving on to Hakkasan which is another Mayfair institution for a great night out. Amazing food and atmosphere.
Ivy Asia Chelsea and Mayfair- Both great places, however the location determines the clientele as Mayfair attracts different crowd, similar to Novikov and Sexy Fish and the Chelsea one is more Chelsea if you know what I mean. Same great food and atmosphere, the signature green floor is iconic!
Coya- another fusion restaurant , great food and fun music and atmosphere , slightly off the Mayfair area but still close to it. Great Dj in a bar area and great decorations.
Nobu Portman Square.- Located is a huge venue it is a great Nobu restaurant with amazing Japanese food, it is fun and has a great atmosphere and it is full of nice glamorous people.
Chotto Matte in Soho. Soho is not my favourite area but I would still recommend this place as the food is great and the atmosphere is great but not ideal when it comes to the crowd.
Having been to all of those above several times , my favourite will always be Novikov though! Second favourite is Ivy Asia Chelsea.
