It Ends With Us- Film review

It Ends With Us - new film with Blake Lively. I wasn't expecting much from this film but I was surprised that I actually liked it. It starts with a 'romantic comedy' vibe that brings to mind some of those classic romantic comedies that we all loved in 90s or early 2000s. For some reason those type of moves are not being made anymore so it was giving me a cosy feeling of familiarity. After a while the film develops into more drama but it has been subsided by the way it was filmed which was an interesting take to convey the message but without unnecessary violence and grafic scenes, it was a nice change after so many movies that have too much violence just for the sake of it. Blake Lively was great for the role however I am not sure why they have made her wear so many dungarees, it was a bizarre choice of outfits especially that the other actress who played the sister was wearing the most amazing flamboyant outfits that could have easily been worn by Carrie in Sex and th...

Everyman in Chelsea - luxury London cinema

Does anyone go to the cinema anymore in London? Yes, definitely, especially my favourite London cinema at the moment, while mourning the loss of Curzon Victoria, a loss we can never recover from as Londoners. The cinema that comes to the rescue in those times of culture depravation is Everyman cinema in Chelsea. It is located on King's Rd, of course and it probably the cutest cinema in town, with lovely decor and plush seating areas, bar with drinks and snacks and of course your own waitress serving directly to your seat. Perfect for a date or even solo cinema outing. The best part about this cinema is the it also has screenings of other cultural delights such as opera or theatre and as a matter of fact it can be even better than attending theatre itself as the seating is more comfortable and you can pretty much sit anywhere and feel like you are right up there in the beast seats in the opera ot theatre itself. Without being significantly impoverished by the premium tickets....

Art'otel Joia rooftop bar review Battersea Power Station

There is a new rooftop in town, Battersea Power station Art Hotel. It is places on 16th floor of the building and has amazing views over the Power Station and London. A perfect place to enjoy a drink on a sunny day. The bar is serving drinks and has an ope bar, tables and a swimming pool for the residents of the hotel. The water is warm, I checked it personally, it absolutely lovely. The staff is super nice and helpful and there is a DJ playing as well which creates a fantastic atmosphere, really great summer vibes. Overall a great experience if you love rooftop bars and breathtaking views. Perfect for catching up with friends or a date. Next stop on the itinerary is 15th floor with another bar belonging to Joia restaurant and amazing views over London, also a very nice arty and modern decor. SOHO HOUSE MEMBERS CLUB REVIEW

London Soho House is a members club that has many varied venues across London , here are some that I have been to and what I think about them, are they worth it? Soho House is meant to be a place for people who work in media and other creative professions. White City House - a massive venue in White City with restaurants and bars and a swimming pool on the rooftop. There is all you need to be entertained, concerts, shows, cabaret, restaurants ( I lived the Japanese restaurant there) and of course the famous swimming pool. Whereas the venues itself is luges , the pool area gets very crowded even on a Monday so it is a bit tricky to really enjoy it. I wish the pool was bigger. Otherwise I love the venue and the service is always super nice and helpful. Little House in Mayfair. TOP CLUBBY LONDON RESTAURANTS FOR A NIGHT OUT

Do you sometimes want to go to a club without going to a club? You want a fun night out but without the clubbing bit. Those restaurants fill this need and here are my top favourite London restaurants that have that clubbing feeling. Tis would be handy if you are just travelling to London and need a night out as London club scene can be tricky, it is easier to get a reservation in a restaurant than getting into best clubs as you have to be a member. First of all we have to mention Novikov, the OG of London Asian fusion restaurants. On Saturdays it turns into a club and has a DJ and of course let's not forget the famous late night bar with DJ. The food is amazing and it is a fun night out if you are looking for that clubby feeling. Another restaurant with similar atmosphere is Bocconcino just across the road, unfortunately the food is not the best there so it is mainly the atmosphere that is fun and they have live music and dj as well. There are amazing restaurants opening in London every day but those two are really exceptional and found a place on my wish list immediately. Studio Frantzen in Harrods. Click here to book It is on the top floor of Harrods and it's a new exciting Nordic restaurant. with Asian influence. I am beyond excited to try it out! Another one was a love at first sight as well and it's Bacchanalia Click here to book Out of this world decor and menu, probably the most flamboyant restaurant right now in London. Pure luxury, booking well in advance is advised.

Studio Frantzen restaurant review

Studio Frantzen is an amazing restaurant located in Harrods departament store in the top floor. It is quite new and I was very excited to visit it and I was not disappointed. I went there for dinner and the ambiance and decor is very minimal and chic.Lots of wood, dimmed lights, booths. Very modern. As you walk in , it is open plan and you can also see the kitchen which is also nice and interesting to see what is happening there. The menu is great and there is something delicious for everyone. I started off with a yummy cocktail, pink of course, then I had a sashimi selection starter and then baby monkfish main course, all of which was absolutely divine. I can't wait to visit again and sample other things from the menu. I also had a dessert which as delicious, foie gras ice cream. SIGNS OF A TOXIC FEMALE FRIEND with examples

We have all had that fake toxic friend who pretended she's your bestie. here are some red flags to look out for to avoid them. 4th is a big one! and 7th is just VILE. 20th is the best one. 1.
